Can I have a sculpture commissioned?

RoboSteel would be delighted to talk to you about special orders and commissions. We can make almost anything from steel and reproduce ideas and or images to exact specifications. Please contact our design team to discuss your requirements. Email: info@robosteel.com

How often are new sculptures made?

Our artists are working all the time on new concepts and design themes. RoboSteel have new sculptures starting and finishing all the time. Once new sculptures are finished they will appear on our website. RoboSteel welcomes new ideas or concepts for sculptures so if you have any suggestions please contact us and tell us your ideas.

Can I keep my sculpture outside?

RoboSteel advise our clients to keep their sculptures inside. However, if you prefer a weathered effect then the sculpture can be placed outside. All sculptures are coated with several layers of clear acrylic lacquer and this will protect the sculpture and resist corrosion. Over time this protection may need to be reapplied and the lacquer is available for sale on our website in a convenient spray can. It is usual for RoboSteel to paint the statues, as they look most impressive in their natural state although exceptions have been made in the past.

Do you accept trade enquires?

Please contact RoboSteel if you have an inquiry and we will deal with your request. Email info@robosteel.com

Are RoboSteel sculptures suitable for children?

No, RoboSteel sculptures are not toys and are intended for static display and exhibition use only. While care is taken to dull edges and remove hazards the nature of the materials used i.e. steel and the construction process can result in pointed edges and occasionally sharp metal. Many sculptures especially the large variety can be very heavy and care should be taken to position the sculpture in a safe place.

The sculpture is displayed as 'Out of Stock', can it be still be ordered?

If a sculpture is displayed 'Out of Stock' unfortunately the piece cannot be ordered through the online shop. However, your order can be taken by email or over the phone. In this case a deposit of 50% of full the price is required when placing the order, with the remaining 50% payable once the sculpture is finished, and ready for shipping.

What materials are your sculptures made from?

The smaller pieces consist of only a few parts. Larger sculptures can contain thousands of individual parts, and all materials used in construction are recycled from cars, motorbikes and airplanes. The materials used are virtually 100% steel. Occasionally small amounts of copper and ceramic material are used to create the desired effect. All material used are Non toxic

Are the photographs on your web site genuine?

Yes, all photographs are on our site are genuine and have been taken by RoboSteel.

Will my sculpture be an exact match of the photo on the website?

From time to time some sculptures will have a variation and the sculpture you receive might have a very small difference. However, RoboSteel will endeavour to send you the exact sculpture that you have seen in the photo.
