So how do you post a 650kg Alien?
Sending a 2.4 meter 650kg Alien in the post takes a lot preparation. Especially when the final destination is on another continent. This is how we recently shipped a large Alien to Trinidad from Dublin in Ireland.
Firstly the Alien is put to sleep by a massive dose of medication. This gives us time to take him apart and also makes the journey easy on the creature.
The Alien pieces are then carefully packed inside the crate…………..
The reinforced crate is then fixed all around the beast
Finally the shipment is ready and everything is sealed inside the large wooden crate. All that is left is the address and a call to the brave postman to come and collect the shipment for delivery.

What we really want to know is how much this costs (carriage, insurance, duties…). I was sorely tempted to pick up one of these full-size aliens in Germany last year, but the logistics of postage were just unimaginable.
