Truckfest shows are among the largest outdoor events in the UK and next weekend 4th and 5th July 2009 RoboSteel will be bringing a few very large Transformers to Truckfest South West at the Royal Bath & West Show ground.  Along with the amazing RoboSteel sculptures there will be loads of quality family entertainment including:

* Celebrity guests
* Car-crushing monster trucks
* Motorcycle stunt display teams
* Trade stands
* Trucks, Trucks, Trucks, and even more Trucks

The stars of the shows are the hundreds of trucks that attend each show, from working trucks and fleets, through to giant ‘European Supertrucks’ with gleaming chrome and stunning airbrushed artwork.

The whole of the truck industry use the Truckfest shows to highlight the latest vehicles and developments in the world of trucking, and to showcase the industry to the general public too.

Even if you aren’t a truck fanatic, you’ll find plenty to do, from the giant trade stand areas, to model shows, craft fairs and the action packed arena entertainment!

Celebrities and Evening Entertainment

Each show has celebrity visitors and for those who camp on-site they can attend the ‘Truckfest Party Nights’ with top entertainment.
Camping On-site

Truckfest events feature family camping areas for weekend show visitors and are able to accommodate caravans, tents and motor homes and have excellent facilities. As ‘Truckfest Residents’, those camping on-site will be able to enjoy both show days plus exclusive ‘Truckfest Party Nights’ with top entertainment.

The biggest bike show in London and the South East, the MCN London Motorcycle Show is now on at ExCeL, and ends Sunday 1st February 2009 and RoboSteel are there at stand number N412.

Getting to ExCeL London:

By Tube / DLR (Docklands Light Railway) – All visitors to the show using DLR should disembark at Custom House (Prince Regent is closed).

By Road
ExCeL London is just 1 mile east of Canary Wharf and 1 mile west of London City Airport. It’s accessible from the M25, M11, A13 and A406 (North Circular).

Parking

All visitors arriving by car should follow signs to ExCeL West to park. ExCeL London offers car parking facilities for 4,000 cars.

Where exactly is the exhibition?

The exhibition is taking place in The Main Hall complex at the RDS. It includes
four halls and outdoor space for a total of 20 acres. RoboSteel will be
located in the Shelbourne Hall stand S18.

Where is the RDS?

The RDS is in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. It is on the Merrion Road near Herbert Park.
Local landmarks are the Four Seasons Hotel and Bewleys Hotel. From Donnybrook the RDS
is accessed via Simmonscourt Road and Anglesea Road. Check www.rds.ie for map and

The Corporate VIP Preview Day will take place on Thursday 6th November. Please
Note: This is an over 18’s event, you may be asked for ID at the door. Doors open at
5pm and close at 10pm.

Friday 7th November: Doors open at 2pm and close at 10pm.

Saturday 8th November: Doors open at 10am and close at 7pm.

Sunday 9th November: Doors open at 10am and close at 7pm.
